Terms Used In Missouri Laws 59.700

  • Deed: The legal instrument used to transfer title in real property from one person to another.
  • Real property: Land, and all immovable fixtures erected on, growing on, or affixed to the land.
  • Recorder of deeds: the separate recorder of deeds in those counties where separate from the circuit clerk and the circuit clerk and ex officio recorder of deeds in those counties where the offices are combined. See Missouri Laws 59.005
  • State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020

The state of Missouri hereby waives all rights to its possibility of reverter in the real property particularly described in the quitclaim deed in book 279 at pages 76-77 of the office of the recorder of deeds of Scott County.
