- person: may extend and be applied to bodies politic and corporate, and to partnerships and other unincorporated associations. See Missouri Laws 1.020
- Property: includes real and personal property. See Missouri Laws 1.020
- School protection officer: an elementary or secondary school teacher or administrator who has been designated as a school protection officer by a school district. See Missouri Laws 590.010
Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, any person designated as a school protection officer under the provisions of section 160.665 who allows any such firearm out of his or her personal control while that firearm is on school property as provided under subsection 2 of section 160.665 shall be guilty of a class B misdemeanor and may be subject to employment termination proceedings within the school district.
