- Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
- State: when applied to any of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories, and the words "United States" includes such district and territories. See Missouri Laws 1.020
Provided a local or regional port authority has no outstanding obligations, the legislative body or county commission of a city or county, in which a local port authority is situated, votes, by majority, to dissolve said port authority, the local port authority shall be dissolved effective the date of approval of the dissolution by the highways and transportation commission of the state. If, at any time, all of the legislative bodies or county commissions of members of a regional port authority vote, by majority, to dissolve the regional port authority, it shall be dissolved effective the date of the approval of dissolution by the highways and transportation commission of the state. In the event of dissolution of a local or regional port authority, all funds and other assets shall be distributed among the cities and counties, who were members, on a pro rata basis.
