- Month: means a calendar month, and "year" means a calendar year unless otherwise expressed, and is equivalent to the words year of our Lord. See Missouri Laws 1.020
Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, in all cities of the fourth class, the board of alderpersons shall have the authority to fix the compensation, not to exceed two hundred dollars per month, of members of the planning and zoning commission, the board of adjustment, the park board and the board of police commissioners of the city by ordinance.
