Terms Used In Missouri Laws 91.800
- Damages: Money paid by defendants to successful plaintiffs in civil cases to compensate the plaintiffs for their injuries.
- hereafter: means the time after the statute containing it takes effect. See Missouri Laws 1.020
- Property: includes real and personal property. See Missouri Laws 1.020
All such cities are hereby authorized and empowered to acquire such rapid transit improvement, in whole or in part, by condemnation, and shall have the power to assess benefits and damages, and collect and pay therefor, in the manner that such cities may now or hereafter be authorized to acquire real estate or other property, or rights of interest therein, for public purposes.
