13-27-246. Transmission of statewide referendum referred by legislature. The secretary of state shall transmit to the attorney general a copy of a statewide referendum referred to a vote of the people by the legislature no later than 6 months before the election at which the issue will be voted on by the people.
Terms Used In Montana Code 13-27-246
- Election: means a general, special, or primary election held pursuant to the requirements of state law, regardless of the time or purpose. See Montana Code 13-1-101
