2-15-1747. Board of barbers and cosmetologists. (1) In accordance with 37-1-123, there is a board of barbers and cosmetologists.
Terms Used In Montana Code 2-15-1747
- Department: means a principal functional and administrative entity that:
(a)is created by this chapter within the executive branch of state government;
(b)is one of the 20 principal departments permitted under the constitution; and
(c)includes its units. See Montana Code 2-15-102
(2)The board consists of nine members:
(a)two cosmetologists;
(b)one esthetician;
(c)two barbers or barbers nonchemical;
(d)one manicurist;
(e)two members who are affiliated, with a school regulated under Title 37, chapter 31; and
(f)one public member.
(3)The board is allocated to the department as prescribed in 2-15-121.
