2-15-1903. Commissioner of insurance designated. The state auditor shall be ex officio the commissioner of insurance of this state.

Ex officio: Literally, by virtue of one's office.
State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Montana Code 1-1-201
