25-14-105. Requiring witnesses to testify. Witnesses may be required to appear and testify before the judge or referee, upon any proceeding under parts 1 and 2 of this chapter, in the same manner as upon the trial of an issue.
Terms Used In Montana Code 25-14-105
- Testify: Answer questions in court.
- Testify: means every mode of oral statement under oath or affirmation. See Montana Code 1-1-202
- Trial: A hearing that takes place when the defendant pleads "not guilty" and witnesses are required to come to court to give evidence.
