3-20-105. Direct appeal to supreme court. An appeal from a final decision of the asbestos claims judge must be filed directly with the supreme court of Montana in the manner provided by law for appeals from the district court in civil cases.

- Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
