30-14-1606. Telephone solicitation no-call list administration account — purpose and administration. (1) There is a telephone solicitation no-call list administration account in the state special revenue fund for administration of this part by the department.

Terms Used In Montana Code 30-14-1606

  • Department: means the department of justice provided for in 2-15-2001. See Montana Code 30-14-1601
  • State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Montana Code 1-1-201
  • Telephone solicitation: means any voice communication over a telephone line from a live operator, through the use of an automatic dialing-announcing device, or by other means for the purpose of encouraging the purchase of, rental of, or investment in property, goods, or services. See Montana Code 30-14-1601

(2)Revenue generated from fees collected from persons or entities obtaining access to the no-call list database and any civil penalties recovered by the department pursuant to 30-14-1605 must be deposited into the telephone solicitation no-call list administration account.
