32-2-806. Incorporation. The proposed articles of incorporation must be presented to the department, together with an application in writing in the form prescribed by the department, for a certificate authorizing the proposed corporation to transact the business specified in the articles of incorporation within this state.
Terms Used In Montana Code 32-2-806
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Department: means the department of administration provided for in 2-15-1001. See Montana Code 32-2-603
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Montana Code 1-1-201
