32-3-407. Conflicts of interest. A director, committee member, officer, agent, or employee of the credit union may not in any manner, directly or indirectly, participate in the deliberation upon or the determination of any question affecting the person‘s pecuniary interest or the pecuniary interest of any corporation, partnership, or association, other than the credit union, in which the person is directly or indirectly interested.

Terms Used In Montana Code 32-3-407

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
  • Person: includes a corporation or other entity as well as a natural person. See Montana Code 1-1-201
