33-30-1017. Coverage required for services provided by naturopathic physicians. A health service corporation shall provide, in group and individual insurance contracts or certificates, coverage for health services provided by a naturopathic physician licensed pursuant to Title 37, chapter 26, if the health care services that naturopathic physicians are licensed to perform are covered by the contract or certificate.

- Contract: A legal written agreement that becomes binding when signed.
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Health services: means the health care and services provided by hospitals or other health care institutions, organizations, associations, or groups and by doctors of medicine, osteopathy, dentistry, chiropractic, optometry, and podiatry; nursing services; licensed acupuncturist services; licensed social worker, licensed professional counselor, or psychologist services; medical appliances, equipment, and supplies; and drugs, medicines, ambulance services, and other therapeutic services and supplies.
