Terms Used In Montana Code 40-6-104
- Parent and child relationship: means the legal relationship existing between a child and the child's natural or adoptive parents incident to which the law confers or imposes rights, privileges, duties, and obligations. See Montana Code 40-6-102
(1)the natural mother may be established by proof of the mother having given birth to the child or under this part;
(2)the natural father may be established under this part;
(3)an adoptive parent may be established by proof of adoption.
