46-16-605. Verdict of not guilty — when defendant discharged. If a verdict of not guilty is returned and the defendant is not detained for any other legal cause, the defendant must be discharged as soon as the judgment is given.

Terms Used In Montana Code 46-16-605

  • Defendant: In a civil suit, the person complained against; in a criminal case, the person accused of the crime.
