53-2-609. Revocation of assistance. If the department or the local office of public assistance has reason to believe, by reason of a complaint or otherwise, that public assistance under this title has been improperly granted, the department or local office of public assistance shall make an investigation. If it appears as a result of an investigation that the assistance was improperly granted, further payments may not be authorized for the recipient. The right of appeal is granted to recipients whose assistance has been revoked.
