53-21-168. Statement of rights to be furnished and posted. Each patient shall promptly upon admission receive in language the patient understands a written statement of all of the patient’s rights under this part, including the right to treatment, the right to the development of a treatment plan, the right to and the availability of legal counsel, and the rules for patient labor. In addition, a copy of the statement of rights must be posted in each ward.
Terms Used In Montana Code 53-21-168
- Patient: means a person committed by the court for treatment for any period of time or who is voluntarily admitted for treatment for any period of time. See Montana Code 53-21-102
