72-38-221. Enforcement of beneficiary‘s rights under charitable trust by attorney general. In a case involving a charitable trust subject to the jurisdiction of the attorney general, the attorney general may petition under this chapter.
Terms Used In Montana Code 72-38-221
- Charitable trust: means a trust or portion of a trust created for a charitable purpose described in 72-38-405(1). See Montana Code 72-38-103
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
