80-7-107. Grounds for refusal or revocation of license. The department, in accordance with Title 2, chapter 4, may refuse to issue a license or it may revoke a license under this part when:
Terms Used In Montana Code 80-7-107
- Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
- Fraud: Intentional deception resulting in injury to another.
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
(1)the firm has been adjudged bankrupt, insolvent, or guilty of fraud or deceit by a court of competent jurisdiction; or
(2)a verified complaint is made to the department that a licensee has failed to comply with this part.
