90-6-124. Annual audit. (1) There shall be an audit of the board‘s books and records at least once each fiscal year.

Terms Used In Montana Code 90-6-124

  • Board: means the board of housing created in 2-15-1814. See Montana Code 90-6-103
  • Fiscal year: The fiscal year is the accounting period for the government. For the federal government, this begins on October 1 and ends on September 30. The fiscal year is designated by the calendar year in which it ends; for example, fiscal year 2006 begins on October 1, 2005 and ends on September 30, 2006.

(2)The legislative auditor may conduct an audit at the request of the legislative audit committee.
