- Affidavit: A written statement of facts confirmed by the oath of the party making it, before a notary or officer having authority to administer oaths.
- Affidavit: means a sworn written declaration made before an officer authorized to administer oaths or an unsworn written declaration made under penalty of perjury as provided in 1-6-105. See Montana Code 1-1-203
- articles of incorporation: as used in this chapter includes the articles of conversion of a converted corporation. See Montana Code 35-18-206
- Assets: (1) The property comprising the estate of a deceased person, or (2) the property in a trust account.
- Cooperative: means a corporation organized under this chapter or a corporation that becomes subject to the provisions of this chapter. See Montana Code 35-18-102
- Deed: The legal instrument used to transfer title in real property from one person to another.
- Liabilities: The aggregate of all debts and other legal obligations of a particular person or legal entity.
- Member: means each incorporator of a cooperative and each person admitted to and retaining membership in a cooperative as provided by the articles of incorporation or bylaws of the cooperative, including persons admitted to joint membership. See Montana Code 35-18-102
- Property: means real and personal property. See Montana Code 1-1-205
- Remainder: An interest in property that takes effect in the future at a specified time or after the occurrence of some event, such as the death of a life tenant.
- Several: means two or more. See Montana Code 1-1-201
- State: when applied to the different parts of the United States, includes the District of Columbia and the territories. See Montana Code 1-1-201
