- Conviction: A judgement of guilt against a criminal defendant.
- Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
- Extralabel use: means the use of an approved drug in a manner that is not in accordance with the approved label directions. See Montana Code 37-18-801
- Partnership: A voluntary contract between two or more persons to pool some or all of their assets into a business, with the agreement that there will be a proportional sharing of profits and losses.
- Person: includes a corporation or other entity as well as a natural person. See Montana Code 1-1-201
- Veterinary dispensing technician: means a nonpharmacist registered by the board of veterinary medicine to dispense veterinary prescription drugs in a veterinary retail facility. See Montana Code 37-18-801
- Veterinary prescription drugs: means drugs that are to be used or prescribed by a veterinarian licensed pursuant to 37-18-301 to a client who is the owner or caretaker of the animal in need of treatment. See Montana Code 37-18-801
- Veterinary retail facility: means an establishment registered by the board of pharmacy employing a registered veterinary dispensing technician authorized to dispense veterinary prescription drugs pursuant to bona fide orders of licensed veterinarians. See Montana Code 37-18-801
