Nebraska Statutes 32-1540. Fraudulent placement of ballot into ballot box; penalty

Any person who fraudulently puts a ballot into the ballot box shall be guilty of a Class IV felony.

Under the Nebraska Statutes, punishments for crimes depend on the classification. In the case of this section:

Class	Prison	Fine
Class IV felony	up to 2 years	up to $10,000
