If the respondent is not the prevailing party, the court may assess against the respondent all direct expenses and costs incurred by a county attorney or the Attorney General and law enforcement officers under section 43-1262 or 43-1263.
Terms Used In Nebraska Statutes 43-1264
- Attorney: shall mean attorney at law. See Nebraska Statutes 49-801
- Respondent: means a person against whom a proceeding has been commenced for enforcement of an order for return of a child under the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction or enforcement of a child custody determination. See Nebraska Statutes 43-1248
