The director may adopt and promulgate rules and regulations to carry out the Unfair Insurance Claims Settlement Practices Act.

Director: shall mean the Director of Insurance. See Nebraska Statutes 44-103
Settlement: Parties to a lawsuit resolve their difference without having a trial. Settlements often involve the payment of compensation by one party in satisfaction of the other party's claims.
