Subject to the exceptions and restrictions contained in the Title Insurers Act, a title insurer shall have the power to:

- Insurer: shall include all companies, exchanges, societies, or associations whether organized on the stock, mutual, assessment, or fraternal plan of insurance and reciprocal insurance exchanges. See Nebraska Statutes 44-103
(1) Transact only title insurance business; and
(2) Reinsure title insurance policies.
