The director or Attorney General may bring an action in a court of competent jurisdiction to enjoin violations of the federal Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act of 1974, as amended, 12 U.S.C. § 2601.

- Action: shall include any proceeding in any court of this state. See Nebraska Statutes 49-801
- Attorney: shall mean attorney at law. See Nebraska Statutes 49-801
- Director: shall mean the Director of Insurance. See Nebraska Statutes 44-103
- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
