A person who brings livestock into any county of this state for grazing purposes which are already branded shall provide the Nebraska Brand Committee with a statement of the brands of such livestock. Failure to comply with this section renders the violating person liable for all damages resulting from such failure.
Terms Used In Nebraska Statutes 54-1,106
- Damages: Money paid by defendants to successful plaintiffs in civil cases to compensate the plaintiffs for their injuries.
- Livestock: means any domestic cattle, horses, mules, donkeys, sheep, or swine. See Nebraska Statutes 54-183
- Person: means any individual, partnership, limited liability company, corporation, association, firm, or agents or servants of an individual or business entity. See Nebraska Statutes 54-187
- State: when applied to different states of the United States shall be construed to extend to and include the District of Columbia and the several territories organized by Congress. See Nebraska Statutes 49-801
