An appeal of any final action of the Nebraska Power Review Board may be taken to the Court of Appeals. Such appeal shall be in accordance with the rules provided by law for appeals in civil cases.

- Action: shall include any proceeding in any court of this state. See Nebraska Statutes 49-801
- Appeal: A request made after a trial, asking another court (usually the court of appeals) to decide whether the trial was conducted properly. To make such a request is "to appeal" or "to take an appeal." One who appeals is called the appellant.
