‘Guardian’ means a person appointed under other law by a court to make decisions regarding the personal affairs of an individual, including, without limitation, health care decisions. The term does not include a guardian ad litem.

- Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
- person: means a natural person, any form of business or social organization and any other nongovernmental legal entity including, but not limited to, a corporation, partnership, association, trust or unincorporated organization. See Nevada Revised Statutes 0.039
