The summons, as provided in NRS 17.030, shall describe the judgment, and require the person summoned to show cause why the person should not be bound by it, and shall be served in the same manner, and returnable within the same time, as the original summons. It shall not be necessary to file a new complaint.

  • Complaint: A written statement by the plaintiff stating the wrongs allegedly committed by the defendant.
  • person: means a natural person, any form of business or social organization and any other nongovernmental legal entity including, but not limited to, a corporation, partnership, association, trust or unincorporated organization. See Nevada Revised Statutes 0.039
  • Summons: Another word for subpoena used by the criminal justice system.
