The Supreme Court is authorized to designate any person appointed and employed pursuant to NRS 2.295 to act as Bailiff of the Supreme Court.

- Bailiff: a court officer who enforces the rules of behavior in courtrooms.
- person: means a natural person, any form of business or social organization and any other nongovernmental legal entity including, but not limited to, a corporation, partnership, association, trust or unincorporated organization. See Nevada Revised Statutes 0.039
