A prisoner, parolee or a witness at the hearing of a case who is a person with a communications disability as defined in NRS 50.050 is entitled to the services of an interpreter at public expense in accordance with the provisions of NRS 50.050 to 50.053, inclusive. The interpreter must be appointed by the Chair of the Board or other person who presides at the hearing.
