Nevada Revised Statutes 234.160 – Consent of Congress petitioned
The Congress of the United States, as soon as the State of Arizona has ratified and approved the Compact set forth in NRS 234.140, is petitioned, pursuant to Article I, section 10, clause 3, of the United States Constitution, to give its consent to the settlement and location of the above-described portion of the common boundary, as set forth in NRS 234.140, between the States of Nevada and Arizona. The Secretary of State of the State of Nevada shall transmit duly certified copies of NRS 234.130 to 234.180, inclusive, to the presiding officers of the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States and to the several Senators and Representatives from the States of Nevada and Arizona to the Congress of the United States, who are petitioned to take such action as they deem proper to procure the consent of the Congress of the United States to this Compact between the States of Nevada and Arizona.
