1. The governing body of an incorporated city whose population is 500,000 or more may by ordinance create a district.
Terms Used In Nevada Revised Statutes 268.802
- population: means the number of people in a specified area as determined by the last preceding national decennial census conducted by the Bureau of the Census of the United States Department of Commerce pursuant to Section 2 of Nevada Revised Statutes 0.050
2. Not more than one district may be created in each such city.
3. A district is not entitled to receive any distribution of supplemental city-county relief tax.
