Full consideration must be given to the employment of a person with a disability for a position if the person is capable of performing the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodations.
Terms Used In Nevada Revised Statutes 284.317
- Disability: includes , but is not limited to, physical disability, intellectual disability and mental or emotional disorder. See Nevada Revised Statutes 284.015
- Essential functions: has the meaning ascribed to it in Nevada Revised Statutes 284.015
- person: means a natural person, any form of business or social organization and any other nongovernmental legal entity including, but not limited to, a corporation, partnership, association, trust or unincorporated organization. See Nevada Revised Statutes 0.039
