‘Veteran’ or ‘serviceman or servicewoman’ means a person who has served in the Armed Forces of the United States at any time:

Terms Used In Nevada Revised Statutes 315.300

  • Concurrent resolution: A legislative measure, designated "S. Con. Res." and numbered consecutively upon introduction, generally employed to address the sentiments of both chambers, to deal with issues or matters affecting both houses, such as a concurrent budget resolution, or to create a temporary joint committee. Concurrent resolutions are not submitted to the President/Governor and thus do not have the force of law.
  • person: means a natural person, any form of business or social organization and any other nongovernmental legal entity including, but not limited to, a corporation, partnership, association, trust or unincorporated organization. See Nevada Revised Statutes 0.039

1.  On or after April 6, 1917, and prior to November 11, 1918;

2.  On or after September 16, 1940, and prior to July 26, 1947;

3.  On or after June 27, 1950, and prior to January 31, 1955; and

4.  On or after August 5, 1964, and prior to such date thereafter as shall be determined by Presidential proclamation or concurrent resolution of the Congress as the end of the Vietnam era, and, in the case of a veteran, has been discharged or released therefrom under conditions other than dishonorable, or in the case of a serviceman or servicewoman, is presently in the Armed Forces of the United States.
