1. A person shall not file a verified application for an emergency or extended order:

- person: means a natural person, any form of business or social organization and any other nongovernmental legal entity including, but not limited to, a corporation, partnership, association, trust or unincorporated organization. See Nevada Revised Statutes 0.039
(a) Which the person knows or has reason to know is false or misleading; or
(b) With the intent to harass the adverse party.
2. A person who violates the provisions of subsection 1 is guilty of a misdemeanor.
