By regulation, the Department shall prescribe the form of and conditions for obtaining a permissible person‘s certificate, which shall be printed and distributed on request to any person or representative of any institution, school, hospital, or church desiring to import liquor for industrial, medical, scientific or sacramental purposes.

Terms Used In Nevada Revised Statutes 369.440

  • liquor: means beer, wine, gin, whiskey, cordials, ethyl alcohol or rum, and every liquid containing one-half of 1 percent or more of alcohol by volume and which is used for beverage purposes. See Nevada Revised Statutes 369.040
  • permissible person: means any duly ordained minister who uses liquor for sacramental purposes, any doctor, apothecary or pharmaceutist who uses alcohol for or in compounding medicine, or the representative of any school, university, hospital, clinic or industrial concern where liquor is used and needed for industrial purposes and not for concocting beverages for drink. See Nevada Revised Statutes 369.070
  • person: means a natural person, any form of business or social organization and any other nongovernmental legal entity including, but not limited to, a corporation, partnership, association, trust or unincorporated organization. See Nevada Revised Statutes 0.039
