To be eligible to the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction, a person shall:

- person: means a natural person, any form of business or social organization and any other nongovernmental legal entity including, but not limited to, a corporation, partnership, association, trust or unincorporated organization. See Nevada Revised Statutes 0.039
1. Have attained the age of 21 years at the time of his or her appointment; and
2. Possess the knowledge and ability to carry out the duties required by this title and all other statutes and regulations governing K-12 public education.
