Terms Used In Nevada Revised Statutes 392.215

  • Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
  • person: means a natural person, any form of business or social organization and any other nongovernmental legal entity including, but not limited to, a corporation, partnership, association, trust or unincorporated organization. See Nevada Revised Statutes 0.039

1.  Makes a false statement concerning the age or attendance at school;

2.  Presents a false birth certificate or record of attendance at school; or

3.  Refuses to furnish a suitable identifying document, record of attendance at school or proof of change of name, upon request by a local law enforcement agency conducting an investigation in response to notification pursuant to subsection 4 of NRS 392.165, of a child under 18 years of age who is under his or her control or charge, is guilty of a misdemeanor.
