’Disinterested witness’ means a witness other than the spouse, child, parent, sibling, grandchild, grandparent or guardian of the natural person who makes, amends, revokes or refuses to make an anatomical gift, or another adult who exhibited special care and concern for the natural person. The term does not include a person to which an anatomical gift could pass under NRS 451.571.

Terms Used In Nevada Revised Statutes 451.522

  • Gift: A voluntary transfer or conveyance of property without consideration, or for less than full and adequate consideration based on fair market value.
  • Guardian: A person legally empowered and charged with the duty of taking care of and managing the property of another person who because of age, intellect, or health, is incapable of managing his (her) own affairs.
  • person: means a natural person, any form of business or social organization and any other nongovernmental legal entity including, but not limited to, a corporation, partnership, association, trust or unincorporated organization. See Nevada Revised Statutes 0.039
