No person or association against whom an injunction has been issued under NRS 457.150 may use any new or unapproved drug, medicine, compound or device in the diagnosis, treatment or cure of cancer unless such drug, medicine, compound or device has been first submitted to the Division for investigation and testing.
Terms Used In Nevada Revised Statutes 457.160
- Cancer: means all malignant neoplasms, regardless of the tissue of origin, including malignant lymphoma and leukemia. See Nevada Revised Statutes 457.020
- Division: means the Division of Public and Behavioral Health of the Department of Health and Human Services. See Nevada Revised Statutes 457.020
- Injunction: An order of the court prohibiting (or compelling) the performance of a specific act to prevent irreparable damage or injury.
- person: means a natural person, any form of business or social organization and any other nongovernmental legal entity including, but not limited to, a corporation, partnership, association, trust or unincorporated organization. See Nevada Revised Statutes 0.039
