A local governing body may apply to the Administrator for a variance, within the geographical jurisdiction of the local governing body, from any of the regulations adopted pursuant to this chapter. The Administrator may, for good cause shown, grant such a variance.

- Jurisdiction: (1) The legal authority of a court to hear and decide a case. Concurrent jurisdiction exists when two courts have simultaneous responsibility for the same case. (2) The geographic area over which the court has authority to decide cases.
