Reputation of a person‘s character among the person’s associates or in the community is not inadmissible under the hearsay rule.
Terms Used In Nevada Revised Statutes 51.285
- Hearsay: Statements by a witness who did not see or hear the incident in question but heard about it from someone else. Hearsay is usually not admissible as evidence in court.
- person: means a natural person, any form of business or social organization and any other nongovernmental legal entity including, but not limited to, a corporation, partnership, association, trust or unincorporated organization. See Nevada Revised Statutes 0.039
