Terms Used In Nevada Revised Statutes 564.150
- Department: means the State Department of Agriculture. See Nevada Revised Statutes 564.010
- person: means a natural person, any form of business or social organization and any other nongovernmental legal entity including, but not limited to, a corporation, partnership, association, trust or unincorporated organization. See Nevada Revised Statutes 0.039
1. Is guilty of a misdemeanor, except that any person who violates the provisions of subsection 3 of NRS 564.140 is guilty of a gross misdemeanor.
2. In addition to any criminal penalty, shall pay to the Department an administrative fine of not more than $1,000 per violation. If an administrative fine is imposed pursuant to this section, the costs of the proceeding, including investigative costs and attorney’s fees, may be recovered by the Department.
