Nevada Revised Statutes 630.167 – Submission of fingerprints; conditions and limitations on information provided by Board
1. In addition to any other requirements set forth in this chapter, each applicant for a license to practice medicine, including, without limitation, an expedited license pursuant to NRS 630.1606 or 630.1607 or chapter 629A of NRS, and each applicant for a license to practice as a perfusionist, to practice as a physician assistant, to practice as an anesthesiologist assistant or to practice respiratory care shall submit to the Board a complete set of fingerprints and written permission authorizing the Board to forward the fingerprints to the Central Repository for Nevada Records of Criminal History for submission to the Federal Bureau of Investigation for its report. Any fees or costs charged by the Board for this service pursuant to NRS 630.268 are not refundable.

2. Any communication between the Board and the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact Commission created by NRS 629A.100 relating to verification of a physician’s eligibility for expedited licensure pursuant to that section must not include any information received in a report from the Federal Bureau of Investigation relating to a state and federal criminal records check performed for the purposes of an application for an expedited license issued pursuant to NRS 629A.100.
