Terms Used In Nevada Revised Statutes 639.2392

  • controlled substance: means a drug, immediate precursor or other substance which is listed in schedule I, II, III, IV or V for control by the State Board of Pharmacy pursuant to Nevada Revised Statutes 0.031

(a) On the back of the original prescription;

(b) In a bound book or separate file; or

(c) In an electronic record that is readily retrievable.

2.  The record must include:

(a) The date of each refill or authorization;

(b) The number of dosage units; and

(c) The signature or initials of the pharmacist who refilled the prescription or obtained the authorization to refill.
