Family hospital or family medical or dental service contracts may be issued to a family consisting of an individual and one or more persons dependent upon the individual, or of one or more persons dependent upon an individual, and may include a spouse of the individual, whether or not dependent upon the individual. Such contracts shall contain a provision to the effect that to the family originally covered may be added from time to time all new members of the family group eligible for coverage and that the head of the family shall give the corporation notice of the addition to the family of any person eligible for coverage under the contracts.

  • Corporation: A legal entity owned by the holders of shares of stock that have been issued, and that can own, receive, and transfer property, and carry on business in its own name.
  • Dependent: A person dependent for support upon another.
  • person: means a natural person, any form of business or social organization and any other nongovernmental legal entity including, but not limited to, a corporation, partnership, association, trust or unincorporated organization. See Nevada Revised Statutes 0.039
